Dear patients and friends of The Addison Dentist,
Our practice had elected Rainbow Days as our donation recipient for this year’s Smiles for Life charity campaign. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the need for social distancing, we have not been able to share the amazing services this organization provides.
The Smiles for Life Foundation is recognized for its assistance to underserved children around the world. Each year, participating dental practices receive donated whitening materials, and in turn donate their time to whiten patients’ smiles. 100% of the proceeds benefit both Smiles For Life, and a chosen local charity. Rainbow Days has been the beneficiary of choice for The Addison Dentist, as the charity is near and dear to our hearts. The mission of Rainbow Days is to help children and youth in adversity build coping skills and resilience to create positive futures.
As COVID-19 impacts North Texas, Rainbow Days is working to continue supporting the children and families it serves, many of whom are already some of the most vulnerable members of the community. Now, more than ever, the need to help this organization advocate for these children is critical.
While we currently cannot take impressions or schedule whitening appointments in our practice due to the safety guidelines in place by Dallas County and the American Dental Association, we really want to encourage donations!
In addition to monetary donations, which can be made at https://crowncouncil.wufoo.com/forms/smiles-for-life-contributionform/ (SELECT DR. JOHNATHAN NOBLES to ensure your donation is allocated to Rainbow Days) and allow flexibility to meet needs, Rainbow Days is seeking in-kind donations to address the tangible needs of those impacted.
Below are examples:
- Cleaning and household supplies (i.e. Lysol wipes, soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, toiler paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent)
- School supplies (i.e. pencils, notebook paper, crayons, markers)
- Kid-friendly individually wrapped snacks (i.e. Goldfish, animal crackers, pretzels)
To make an in-kind donation, please contact KatyC@RainbowDays.org. Rainbow Days’ offices will be closed through April 3, but there is a donation collection basket outside the office front door at 8150 N. Central Expressway, Suite M1003, Dallas, TX 75206.
